THE GOAL OF NARNIA

Narnia is a unit of Tartarus Invuctus of Dagorhir Battle Games.

The first goal of Narnia is to create a fighting unit that pays tribute to the Chronicles of Narnia and its’ author C.S. Lewis. Narnia encourages everyone to read this series of seven books. The Chronicles of Narnia is a staple of modern fantasy literature often forgotten in the age of the “Lord of the Rings”. The second goal is to create a high quality atmosphere by wearing the best costumes, using the best weapons and exibitting the highest conduct in battle. The third goal is to have as much fun as possible!

JOINING NARNIA

  1. Contact Tartarus Invictus [the Narnia home chapter] and fill out chapter paperwork.
  2. Contact a Narnian Commander [see the 'Council of Commanders' section] and tell them you want to join.
  3. New members are not allowed to be active members of other Dagorhir units unless permitted by the Council of Commanders.
  4. Choose and/or state a name for your persona.
  5. Present yourself on the battlefield wearing the colors of Narnia and the colors of the rank given to you by the commander.

UNIT LAWS

  1. Members of Narnia agree to play by the “spirit” of law not by the “word” of the law. The council will not tolerate people who try to get around requirements by finding holes in the system [a.k.a. loopholes]!
  2. The Council of Commanders is the final word on all matters dealing with Narnia.
  3. No member may take a full name directly from the Chronicles of Narnia. For example, Prince Caspian is illegal, but you may use the name Caspian alone.
  4.  Under no circumstances will a member use the name Aslan or C.S. Lewis even as a nickname in a chat room or internet forums.
  5. No member of Narnia is allowed to use a flail when fighting with or wearing the colors of Narnia. All weapons in Narnia will follow the rules of the Dagorhir Manual of Arms.
  6. Must be 16 years of age or older. [Younger players should read the 'Friends of Narnia' section].
